“The way we differ from Radiohead— who are unquestionably brilliant— is that, at the end of the day, I’m still a slave to catchy songs. I love sing-alongs. And within the limits of that, we’ll try anything. But we’re in the middle because I love ‘Last Friday Night’ by Katy Perry almost as much as ‘Karma Police’, and if you want to straddle that line, you have to take the slings and arrows.”—
I think maybe my parents might get the computer for me IF I give them some money, too. But then I’d be paying for my own Christmas/birthday present. Maybe I can talk to them about getting everyone in my family who was going to get me a gift to just make it one big present from everyone. Then everyone spends a little instead of a lot. Maybe that’ll work.
I mean, the computer is a good idea. My netbook can’t play DVDs and I can’t put Photoshop on it or my video editing software that my video camera came with and it’s really slow and has no memory on it anymore. If I get this new computer I won’t need another one for a long time. I’ll talk to my dad about it later because my mom told me to ask him about it when I asked her last night.
So I want a Macbook Pro for Christmas/my birthday and I just went online to see how much they were again (because I have looked them up before) and apparently Apple is selling the new Macbook Pros now and they are so fucking expensive and I’m pretty sure I won’t get one now.
